Khaya and Satinwood Chest of Drawers

The parquetry panels of the doors are made from squares of shop-cut satinwood veneer into which a relief pattern is cut. Narrow satinwood strips are also inlaid in the drawer fronts for a subtle effect. The feet are turned on the lathe and the dovetail joints of the drawers are hand-cut.
