Hickory Chest on Stand

The parquet used for the case and drawer fronts is made from a single board of hickory. The darker squares are heartwood, and the lighter squares sapwood. The squares that fall between dark and light represent the transition from heartwood to sapwood. The handles are caved bubinga.
