Bubinga Blanket Chest

The parquetry panels consist of shop-cut veneer squares arranged with the grain alternating between vertical and horizontal. The alternating grain produces a subtle checkerboard effect that changes depending on the direction of the light source.

Holly and pearl inlay are used in the top.
